  • As many as 70% of all young people have experienced some form of bullying.
  • 1 million kids are bullied every week, inside and outside of school.
  • Bullying is one of the biggest concerns for children (and parents!) as they grow up.
  • At least 20 children every year commit suicide because they are being bullied.
  • 30% of 11 to 16-year-olds have been cyber bullied
  • 340,000 – or one in 3 – are subject to persistent bullying via digital technologies
  • 31.3% of cyberbullying incidents began offline
  • 61% have seen or heard of fake profiles, hate sites and happy slapping material
  • One quarter (24.5%) have been sent a video clip or image of someone being bullied
  • 69% of young people who’ve been cyberbullied are open to taking advice from their peers online
  • Girls are most likely to be cyberbullied, as well as cyberbully; 23.8% of girls have received an upsetting or offensive phone call compared to 12.2% of boys
